Beauty Report: Celeb Inspired Hair Cuts For Fall 2015

Changing seasons means changing hairstyles and the fall is the perfect time to start fresh with a new look. Whether you are looking for a dramatic change or a simple update to your already chic look, here are the season’s top three celeb-inspired haircuts for fall, along with styling tips from our celeb insider, hairstylist Richard Collins.

The Angled Bob is getting lots of attention from celebrity “It” girls this fall. It’s a chic, understated hairstyle that Collins says is going down as one of his favorites this year. The easy, sleek look is perfect for fall. To style your angled bob, divide your hair into four sections and apply Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Satin Frizz Control and Protect Heat Protection Straightening Spray before blow drying it straight with a paddle brush, from one side to the other, back to front. Use a flat iron to ensure you straighten out the ends and get an ultra- sophisticated look. Add Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Crystal Shine and Hold Transparent Polishing Cream to give it a glossy finish. Tuck it behind your ears for a simple, casual look or leave it to the front for an edgier look.

The Lob was this year's most popular celebrity cut, striking the perfect balance between short and long featuring striking colors, shapes, and textures. The cut is so chic that Collins says it has evolved into a longer version for fall.  Style your longer Lob by using a half inch curling iron to curl the top portion of your hair only. Divide your hair into two inch sections and curl it in a spiral movement from the bottom of the piece to the top. Once you’re done with the middle section, spritz with Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Biotin+ Volume and Texture H2O Free Hairspray and shake your hair out. Finish by lightly smoothing out the top of your hair with Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Satin Frizz Control and Protect Nutri-Nectar Oil.

Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean you can’t rock Mermaid Waves; in fact, Collins says it is one of the most requested styles among his celeb clientele for fall. He says a tousled mane of sexy supermodel-inspired hair is in style any season. For the perfect fall beach waves, apply Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Biotin+ Volume and Texture Superb Volume Mousse to your wet hair. Flip your head upside down and blow dry through it using your fingers to create volume at the roots. Part your hair in the middle and use a curling iron to add subtle waves around the face. Finish your look by spritzing your hair with Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Elastin Curls and Moisture Soft Tousle Spray for added texture.

Consider the change of seasons your call to action to freshen up your hair with a celeb-inspired Angled Bob, Long Lob or Mermaid Waves. Celebrity hair stylist Richard Collins’ styling tips along with your favorite Schwarzkopf products provide all the inspiration you need to book your next salon appointment.
