The Shag – A Little Naughty

Did this ever happen to you? Your hair stylist convinced you to an adventure of a hair style and now you hardly recognize yourself in the mirror? The new look was supposed to be sooo cool. This would have never happened with a hair style classic like a 70s style shag haircut

The shag is based on a stepped haircut, and the hair is combed closely to the scalp. The style works in all variations, cut short up to the earlobes or shoulder-long.

A long side parting looks great with a shag haircut. The shag also works well for fine hair providing the covering hair is not cut too short.

If your hair is very thick and strong the shag haircut should be feathery and light for a tamer, less heavy appearance. What about styling? Blow-dry the shag and you are done!
